Geis provides logistics services for Bioderma
Geis has expanded its logistics services with an important partner - the French cosmetics company NAOS. By taking over the complete warehouse logistics for their products, Geis has become a key partner in the distribution of high-quality dermocosmetics on the Czech and Slovak markets.
The distribution centre is located in the premises in Prague Ruzyně, where Geis now manages two brands from the NAOS portfolio: Bioderma and Institut Esthederm. For this project, Geis has allocated almost 1,400 pallet spaces and 500 m² of shelving. In addition to NAOS, Geis also provides logistics services to other major clients in the multiuser warehouse, whose product range includes everything from electronic accessories to DIY tools to sports nutrition.

The Prague premises now stock more than 580 different items of NAOS cosmetics for both the Czech and Slovak markets. These products are suitable for the whole family, especially for children and people with sensitive skin, eczema or acne sufferers, and include everything from lip balms to sunscreens. Geis' role is to handle the entire logistics process from receiving the goods through storage to dispatch.

Cosmetic products require special conditions for storage and handling. Expiry dates must be strictly monitored and therefore the warehouse operation is managed according to the FEFO system. Each product carries a unique batch number, which enables its precise identification and tracking. The products are also labelled in Czech and Slovak by warehouse staff to meet the requirements of both markets. On a daily basis, Geis then dispatches shipments from the warehouse to pharmaceutical distributors, beauty salons or large e-shops in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
