Prague, May 22, 2017 - Czech-Slovak part of the international logistics group Geis published its turnover for 2016, which increased to more than 5 billion CZK. The results of all Geis Group are very positive as well.
The number of employees of Czech-Slovak part of Geis Group increased by 10 percent in 2016. Currently we employ 1572 people in 30 branches and logistics sites. Turnover, rising by 12.5% compared to 2015, exceeded the 5 billion mark. "We are happy with the results of 2016. All our staff have been working hard and, last but not least, there have been ongoing investments in modernizing and improving transport network and technologies, which help us provide our clients with services of high quality standard in all areas of logistics," said Daniel Knaisl, Statutory Representative Geis. "We have seen the highest growth in e-commerce services, not only in transport, but as well in warehousing and value-added services. In the field of contract logistics, we generally see great potential as a number of manufacturing and distribution companies are looking for the most cost-effective solution, which is, indeed, outsourced logistics." adds Daniel Knaisl.
